Overview

The longest and most complete route: it circles the quiet northern slopes for the strongest acclimatisation and a high chance of reaching the top.

The Northern Circuit is the longest and most complete route on Kilimanjaro, with strong acclimatisation and a high summit success rate. It starts on the western side and circles the northern slopes — a remote, quiet, premium trek. The 9-day plan follows ‘climb high, sleep low’ for a safer summit attempt at Uhuru Peak.
