Staying with us
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 12:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Arriving early or leaving late? Tell us and we will do our best — the reception can also keep your bags.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. Every room rate is bed and breakfast, for everyone staying in the room.
Can hotel guests use the gym?
Yes — the fitness gym is always free for guests staying in the hotel. Visitors from outside can buy a day pass or a monthly or three-month membership; the prices are on the Gym, Sauna & Spa page.
Is there Wi-Fi and parking?
Yes, both are free for guests.
Booking & payment
How do I book and pay?
Choose your dates and room on this website and your room is held for you straight away. A deposit confirms the booking — we send the payment details by email and WhatsApp — and the rest is paid at the hotel. Pay only to the account in your confirmation from Nefaland Hotel.
Can I pay in shillings or in dollars?
Both. Our prices are published in Tanzanian shillings and in US dollars — choose your currency at the top of the website and your booking stays in that currency.
Conferences & events
Can I hold a conference, wedding or party at the hotel?
Yes. We have three halls — Mikumi (up to 150 guests), Ruaha (150 to 200) and Kitulo (350 to 400) — plus a conference package with tea breaks, lunch buffet, Wi-Fi and stationery. Use the planner on the Conferences & Events page to see a price and send us your date.
What is in the conference package?
Two tea breaks with snacks (morning and afternoon), a lunch buffet, free Wi-Fi, three soft drinks, writing pads, a marker pen, a pen and a flipchart — per person, per day. A projector can be added.
Getting here
Where is the hotel?
In Magomeni Argentina on Morogoro Road, Dar es Salaam, near the BRT station — the bus rapid transit line runs from there into the city centre.
Can you arrange an airport pick-up?
Yes, on request. Add your flight number and arrival time when you book, or message us on WhatsApp, and we will confirm the transfer and its price.
