Overview

Stone Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the island’s cultural capital. Its streets are too narrow for cars, which is why walking is the only way to see it properly.

Spend at least one night here. Evenings at the Forodhani food market and mornings at Darajani market are as much a part of Zanzibar as the beaches.
